LC CRIME STOPPERS OFFERING REWARD FOR INFORMATION ON STOLEN BIKE
Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a stolen electric bike. According to The Licking County Sheriff’s Office, on October 29, someone stole an Aventon Electric 2 bike from Van Buren Acres on Killers Road Southwest in Hebron. The bike is red with white stripes on both sides. The suspect was said to be driving a white pickup truck with noticeable damage on the right rear side. NEWARK MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING DRUGS INDICTED
A 27-year-old Newark man accused of selling drugs has been indicted. Cody Page faces two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs following his arrest earlier this year. Page remains held on 25-thousand dollars bond.
COTC PRESENTS THREE ALUMNI AWARDS TO GRADUATES
Central Ohio Technical College recently presented three alumni awards to graduates who have reached remarkable heights in their careers and shown extraordinary dedication to the communities they serve. Terry Bertiaux received this year's Outstanding Alumni Award. Sarah Grandstaff was honored with the Transitions Alumni Award. Brian Haught received the John C. "Jay" Barker Community Service Alumni Award.
GRANTS AWARDED TO HELP OHIOANS FACING HOUSING INSTABILITY
The Ohio Department of Development today announced $18.7 million in grants to help Ohioans facing housing instability and homelessness find temporary emergency shelter and permanent housing. The Salvation Army in Columbus was awarded 861-thoousand dollars and the Salvation Army in Zanesville was awarded 188-thousand dollars.
OSU PLAYER SELECTED AS FINALIST FOR THE HEISMAN TROPHY
Ohio State QB Julian Sayin is among the five players selected as finalists for the Heisman Trophy. The trophy will be awarded Saturday in New York.
