County Players Presents "Empty Nest"
The Licking County Players proudly opens their 51st season
with Empty Nest, an original work by Newark resident PJ Glassman. The
story centers on Gwen and Jake, two siblings traveling in different
directions. Gwen has a stable career and an exciting future in New
York City. Jake, a law school dropout, has moved back in with their
parents.But when Gwen loses her job and lies her way into moving back
home as well, sibling rivalry takes on a whole new meaning. Written
for the LCP stage, Empty Nest is a heartfelt comedy exploring how
parents and children deal with failure, and how the bonds of love are
ultimately what matter most.
Empty Nest is directed be Travis Kopp and will run from September 15th
-17th and September 22nd -24th at 8:00 p.m. with a matinee performance
September 25th at 2:00 p.m.
