Carol Strawn Center Caregiver Education Class
The Carol Strawn Center will offer a Caregiver Education Class titled
"Managing Guilt, Grief, and Caregiver Stress".
This month there will be a guest speaker, Brad Jackson, Chaplain from VITA
Hospice. During this class, we will discuss how to deal with fuilt, grief,
and stress. As caregivers, it is important to know how to cope with all of
these feelings and emotions. Refreshments willbe provided.
Please join The Carol Strawn Center for this educationalclass on
Wednesday, August 22nd from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at: 101
West Main Street (meeting room B) in Newark. The class is free for seniors over
60 years old and donations are appreciated for those under 60 years of
age. Registering assures there are enough handout materials are available, call (740) 345-5190
Specializing in adult day
services for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, the
Carol Strawn Center is funded by donors, participant fees, the Central
Ohio Agency of Aging, the Licking County Senior Citizen's Levy, and the
United Way of Licking County.
