Carol Strawn Center Caregiver Education Class

The Carol Strawn Center will offer a Caregiver Education Class titled "Basics of Alzheimer's Part 2". This is the second of a two part class that will include information that caregivers will find helpful. There will be a brief review of information covered in Part 1. Topics covered in Part 2 will include the stages of Alzheimer's disease, treating the symptoms and hope for the future. To help you gain a better understanding of this disease, please join The Carol Strawn Center for this informative class on Wednesday, September 24th  from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at: Newark City Library, 101 West Main Street in Newark. The class is free for seniors over 60 years old and donations are appreciated for those under 60 years of age. Specializing in adult day services for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, the Carol Strawn Center is funded by donors, participant fees, the Central Ohio Agency of Aging, the Licking County Senior Citizen's Levy, and the United Way of Licking County.
